Do you want to learn more about Jesus in a fun way? Do you like free, hot breakfast? If you said yes, then FCA is for YOU!
You know the people who sell the Chick-fil-a biscuits at the front of the school? FCA is the one who sells them. But what exactly is FCA?
“FCA is Fellowship of Christian Athletes. We eat free breakfast every Friday, worship to two songs from a live band, and either have a speaker speak 3 weeks out of 4 in the month then game week the 4th week,” Grace Snuffer, the president of FCA, explaining what FCA is and what they do.
They have speakers that range from the pastor of that church to student speakers that go to White Knoll. They talk about things like, “Are you ready to go to heaven?” or “Keep pounding, don’t give up.”
They also play games like balloon tower, where you try and stack a bunch of balloons on top of each other in 45 seconds, or the Oreo Challenge where you put an Oreo on your forehead, and you try and get it down to your mouth without touching it.
If you want to join and hear the word of God and be inspired throughout the day whatever the message is that week, worship to an amazing, live band, and of course, eat a free hot breakfast, then it starts at 7 am every Friday with, “Breakfast served at 7am at Redemption Columbia across the street from White Knoll.”
But even if you just want the delicious Chick-fil-a biscuits, FCA will be selling them on Thursday, October 13th.
