November 4-5, 2016 was an exciting weekend for White Knoll Cheer. All of the competing cheer teams for the White Knoll High School cheer program competed at Debbie Rogers, one of the biggest competitions of the season. It is the championship for C team and JV divisions and is like a warm up for the Varsity division.
Carolina Springs Middle School Cheer finished 5th in a tough division. Coach Judy Hobbs did amazing things with the C-Team. JV had a solid 9th place finish out of 13, getting their highest score of the season and highest finish at the Debbie Rogers Competition in a long time.
The White Knoll High School Varsity competes in the toughest cheer division.
There were 20 teams that competed in this division. The varsity team placed 9th out of 20, the best finish at this competition in years. The week prior to this competition, they placed 1st, and Varsity hopes to continue this upward momentum on Saturday at Qualifiers for State. The team must finish in the top 16 teams to qualify for State. The cheerleaders need support. Please come out to River Bluff on Saturday, November 12th to bring some noise for the cheerleaders. They compete at 11:00, but get there early to get a good seat. Go WK Varsity Cheer and the White Knoll High School cheer program.
