Are you a female at White Knoll? Are you interested in surrounding yourself with positive energy? If so then you should join the White Knoll Women Ambassadors. WKWA is a club for female students at White Knoll that teaches young woman to lift each other. The members also do different things to support the community such as Girls on the Run. At Girls On the Run the members cheer on the runners as they pass by. Club President Julianna Mills says, “My favorite part about being in WKWA is that you can meet new people and you get to help the community”. Junior Angela Barrios Hernandez says, “I love how the main focus of each meeting is girl power.” The club meets the last Thursday of every month and has a guest speaker at each meeting. The type of guest speakers are women who are positive influences and they share information about their jobs and obstacles they’ve overcome.
