School Hacks 2018

I, like every other student, can’t stop stressing about school. I never feellike I have time in the morning, the brains during school, or the organization skills for after school. As I like to find the easiest ways to do things, I figured my with fellow students at White Knoll would like to as well. Here are some of the best school hacks of 2018.

There is really easy hack around having to actually wake up. The best tips are to get a restful sleep, here’s how: try putting out flowers like Lavender and Jasmine while you sleep.

You can also use orange oil on your face or near you. Such oils can be used in candles and in baths too. Finally you can drink non-caffeinated chamomile tea. Also sleeping in muted or pastel tones help relax the brain because it’s not trying to process such bright colors or patterns.

Even writing out your troubles before bed has shown a decrease in stress before bed. These are great natural ways that are proven to help muscles relax and brain waves to slow.

We all know it takes a while to get ready. If you’re already tired, not knowing what to wear, to pack, or eat, can be a huge struggle. If you’re running late, this next hack is perfect. Either decide what you want to wear the night before based on tomorrow’s weather, or have a “clothing care package”. They’re are super simple and helpful. Simply have a t-shirt, jeans, and hoodie(and possibly socks too) that are changed out every season.Screen Shot 2018-04-17 at 2.31.47 PM

Have the items rolled up together and put in your closet for days that you are running late on.

Have a small makeup bag with the essential and bare minimal makeup products, like mascara and concealer. The bag can also be put with your clothing care package for those late days.

Try to pack a lunch the night before to grab on your way out the house. You can even check out one of our many Wellness Wednesday recipes for some healthy ideas. 


While you’re leaving your house, have your mental checklist. Do I have my iPad, phone, lunch, and ID? Even leave a snack like a granola bar near the door to grab on your way out if you can’t catch the time to eat a sit down meal.
